Something Fair:
“Otherside” by Macklemore x Ryan Lewis.
I believe this is a beautiful song because it speaks the truth, Macklemore feels the words and shows his feelings. This song is about dealing with peer pressure to fit in, be cool, succeed and be successful in the eyes of those who look up to you, look down to you. How drugs and the fast track ruin you. Sex sells, but what message is that sending to the YOUTH?
I’ve seen my people’s dreams die, I’ve seen what they can be denied…
And “weeds not a drug” - that’s denial…
I’ve seen cocaine bring out the demons inside…
Friendship cease, no peace in the mind
Stealin’ and takin’ anything to fix the pieces inside
Broken, hopeless, headed nowhere
Only motivation for what the dealer’s supplying
That rush, that drug, that dope
Those pills, that crumb, that roach
Thinkin’ I would never do that, not that drug
And growing up nobody ever does
Until your stuck, lookin’ in the mirror like I can’t believe what I’ve
become
Swore I was goin’ to be someone
And growing up everyone always does
We sell our dreams and our potential
To escape through that buzz
Just keep me up, keep me up
Hollywood here we come”
Wobble baby wobble.
Something fair:
Adding a wobble onto out favorite semi-mainstream indie songs. Not crazy jump out of your library carel dubstep-letting-the-beat-drop but more like a Lupe-meets-MGMT-remixes. Sick beats and beautiful songs. Makes for great rainy day keep me up still because I have homework to do music.
Daylight by Maroon 5
Because I was born to be the other woman. I belonged to no one, who belonged to everyone. Who had nothing, who wanted everything. An obsession for freedom…that pushed me into a nomadic point of madness that would dazzle and defeat me….

Something Fair:
Pretty people, ethereal lighting and backdrops. Fairytale + underground club scene = well done, Mr. Ed Sheerhan.

Something Whimsical:
My bitches, I bring you Ke$ha’s new Album “Warrior.”
“I know I’m not perfect,
I know I got issues.
I know that I’ve got a sorted past
And yes, some bad tattoos
I’m not a model. I’m not a saint
I’m sorry, but I’m just not sorry,
Cause I swear and cause I drink,
But maybe it’s about the time
To let all of the love back into the light
Maybe it’s about the perfect place
To let go and Forget about the hate
Love into the light
I know we’re all different
Baby that’s life
But of all of these differences
They make me feel alive…”
Something Fair:
Rihanna acoustic. I’ve always loved her style, admired her as she came out with that rough and powerful album, toned it down as she recovered and now she’s back on top. BAMF.

The Passenger- Let Her Go
“May you only need the light when its burning low,
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow,
Only know you love her when you let her go
only know you’ve been feelin low…”
